Tint and lamination both need a quick in-salon patch test the first time (and once every 6 months after) — book both together and we’ll keep the result on file.

Brow FAQs
How long does eyebrow tinting last?
Around 4 to 6 weeks on the brow hair itself, with a slightly fainter stain on the skin that fades within a week or so. Sun, oily skincare, and exfoliating products will shorten that — keep them gentle around the brow area for the first 24 hours after tinting.
What is eyebrow lamination and how long does it last?
Lamination is a gentle perming treatment that softens and re-sets the brow hairs into a brushed-up, uniform direction. It builds the look of fuller, fluffier brows without any tint or dye. Results last around 6 to 8 weeks as the hairs gradually return to their natural growth pattern.
What’s the difference between tinting and lamination?
Tinting changes the colour of your brow hair (and a little of the skin underneath). Lamination changes the direction and shape — straightening unruly hairs upwards for a brushed-up look. They’re not the same treatment and they pair well together: tint adds depth, lamination adds shape.
How often should I get my brows shaped?
Most clients return every 3 to 4 weeks for a wax to keep the shape clean. If you have your tint refreshed at the same visit, the wax + tint combo at £15 is a small saving on booking the two separately and is the most popular choice for regular maintenance.
Do I need a patch test for brow tinting or lamination?
Yes — both treatments use a chemical solution, so we need to do a quick in-salon patch test on your skin first. It takes 15 minutes, costs £5, and the result stays valid for 6 months. One patch test covers tinting, lamination AND LVL, so you only need to repeat it once every 6 months. The test must be done at least 24 hours before your treatment — the safest way is to use the "book both together" option in the booking flow and we’ll fit the patch test on an earlier day.
Will lamination damage my brow hair?
No — when applied correctly with proper timing for your hair type. The solution is designed for the brow area and we adjust the processing time based on how coarse or fine your brow hair is. We finish with a nourishing oil to condition the hairs immediately afterwards. If you have very fine or fragile brows, mention it in the booking notes and Jade will adjust the technique.
